I was referred to Dr. Kass by another dentist whom I did not really know. Being new to the area, I really had no idea who to go see so I took the referral and hoped for the best. A couple specifics really made it an enjoyable experience (as enjoyable as a root canal re-do can be). 1) Dr. Kass was personable but still serious about his work. 2) He used an automated syringe for numbing my mouth… basically that meant less pricks with the needle and being numb quickly. 3) The Hygienist assisting him on my procedure was fantastic, she ensured that I was comfortable the entire time and kept me informed so I knew what to expect throughout the procedure. 4) Once complete, Dr. Kass showed me before and after x-rays and explained what he did. Hands down, I would recommend Dr. Kass for your Endodontic needs.
I have nothing but good things to say about this office and Dr. Kass. I am a bit of a repeat customer when it comes to my teeth, and had a root canal done here about 10 years ago, which has not bothered me one day. I recently had another one completed, and it was an easy experience. Dr. Kass and his staff are very professional, and make the whole process quick and easy.

Dr. K is calm, personable, very smart, kind, caring, and honest. You can trust him to do the proper procedure, and do it correctly. All the other positive reviews mirror my own experience. I was terrified to get a root canal. Dr. Kass was very patient, and I never felt like my concerns weren’t important. I didn’t have any pain, and it was over faster than I anticipated. I would definitely recommend him to anyone I know.

I was referred to Grand Traverse Endodontics by my dentist for a root canal in tooth 18.. for those who don’t know it’s the very back molar on the lower left side of your mouth. I was worried at first because I had never had a root canal on a molar and second mostly because I have had at least one bad experience pertaining to a root canal previously.
From the time I walked into this office and spoke with the lady at the front desk (I apologize for not knowing her name) to the moment I climbed back into my car I had a most pleasant experience. I never in a million years would’ve thought the procedure would’ve went on as flawlessly and painlessly as it did.
Wonderful job to all the staff involved in the office as well as the procedure rooms. Dr. Kass and his assistant (also apologies for not knowing her name as well) worked very well together to make sure I knew what was going to happen and I was comfortable during the entire procedure. They each would take a moment to ask if I was doing ok during the procedure showing how much they truly do care about the level of comfort they are providing to patients.
Thank You So Much To The Staff of Grand Traverse Endodontics for helping to ease my worries and make this event as efficient, safe, quick & painless as possible… there was actually no pain involved.. I almost forgot to mention they are also using Gentle Wave Technology. If you aren’t familiar Google that.. 😁 it’s amazing and painless.

I honestly don’t know how anyone could ever give Grand Traverse Endodontics less than 5 stars. I literally fell asleep during a root canal. Kass has world class equipment, is very accommodating and the rooms have floor to ceiling windows so you don’t fell trapped. His numbing agent is unlike you have ever had. I centralizes the numbing, it doesn’t just numb your entire face. Staff are nice and funny. I have unfortunately been here twice, but 5 star both times.

Had a root canal done and it was easy and quick. They were very personable and took great care of you. Highly recommend to anyone needing any procedures done. Dr. Kass is phenomenal!

I highly recommend Grand Traverse Endodontics. I have had 2 root canals done by Dr. Kass and he is so kind and professional and somehow makes a root canal seem like a comfortable experience. All of his staff are so caring and helpful. Without a doubt Dr. Kass and his staff are 5 STAR!
Outstanding experience. Extremely professional and everyone was very polite. They took great care of me and the root canal procedure took almost exactly an hour. They were happy to explain things to me as well. Highly recommend!

I had to have a re-root canal done on my front tooth. The old root canal just “ went bad “. Thank God for the compassion you have shown me (and to so many more of our Veterans) for Veterans Day by offering free dental to all veterans . I never realized how sick an infected tooth could actually make someone. I know you have saved my life. You are doing Gods work. Thank you 🙏 so much.
